If you are using the Service on behalf of a law firm or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
JurisFile is a SaaS platform that provides AI-assisted legal document drafting tools designed to help licensed Texas attorneys generate draft court filings, including motions to enforce, motions for contempt, and related family law documents.
JurisFile is a drafting assistance tool only. It is not a law firm, does not employ attorneys, and does not provide legal representation or legal advice of any kind.
Nothing generated by JurisFile constitutes legal advice, and no attorney-client relationship is formed between JurisFile and any user or their clients under any circumstances.
All AI-generated content produced by the Service is provided solely as a starting point for attorney review. Such content:
The accuracy, completeness, and legal sufficiency of any document filed with a court is solely the responsibility of the filing attorney.
All use of JurisFile must comply with the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct and Texas State Bar Ethics Opinion No. 705 regarding AI use in legal practice. The attorney of record bears sole professional responsibility for every document submitted to any court.
Every document generated by JurisFile must be reviewed and approved by a licensed Texas attorney before filing. Clicking the approval checkbox constitutes your representation that you have reviewed and verified the document's accuracy and legal sufficiency.
JurisFile may not be used by non-attorneys to prepare documents for filing without attorney supervision. Use by non-licensed individuals may constitute unauthorized practice of law under Texas Penal Code §38.123.
You are responsible for ensuring your use of JurisFile complies with your obligations under Texas Rule 1.05. Do not input sensitive client information beyond what is necessary to generate a document draft.
To use the Service, you must be at least 18 years of age, a licensed attorney in good standing with the State Bar of Texas or an authorized employee of such an attorney, and legally capable of entering into a binding contract.
You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to notify us immediately at legal@jurisfile.com of any unauthorized use of your account.
JurisFile offers subscription plans as described at jurisfile.com/pricing. All fees are in U.S. dollars and are non-refundable except as expressly provided herein.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. By providing a payment method, you authorize JurisFile to charge all applicable fees.
We will provide at least 30 days' notice of any price increase before it takes effect.
You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide partial refunds for unused portions. For billing errors, contact billing@jurisfile.com within 30 days.

The Service, including its software, AI systems, templates, user interface, and branding, is the exclusive property of JurisFile and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of the case information you input and the AI-generated documents produced using your data, subject to attorney review and approval requirements herein.
JurisFile does not use your input data or client information to train AI models. Your data is used solely to generate documents on your behalf.
JurisFile treats all case information, client data, and attorney work product entered into the platform as confidential. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews.

JurisFile does not warrant that AI-generated documents will be legally accurate, sufficient, or accepted by any court, or that the Service reflects the most current version of Texas statutes or rules.
In no event shall JurisFile be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, malpractice claims, court sanctions, or damage to professional reputation.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless JurisFile from any claims arising out of or related to:
Either party may terminate the subscription at any time. JurisFile reserves the right to immediately suspend or terminate your access without notice if we believe you have violated these Terms or if continued access poses a legal or security risk.
You may request a copy of your documents within 30 days of termination. After 30 days, we may permanently delete your data in accordance with our data retention policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law provisions. The Federal Arbitration Act governs the arbitration provisions below.
Before initiating any formal dispute, contact legal@jurisfile.com with a written description. We will attempt to resolve informally within 30 days.
Any unresolved dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the AAA under its Commercial Arbitration Rules in Dallas, Texas. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding.
JurisFile reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or site notice at least 14 days before changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
